Philosophy about Instructional Technology It isn't about the technology it is about the learning. I always tell the teachers and administrators that there are only two reasons to use technology in the classroom; increase student learning and or increase efficiency.
In daily planning for instruction always ask and answer these questions:
- What am I teaching?
- Why am I teaching it?
- How am I teaching it?
- How will I know if the students learned it?
- How can technology assist me?
Technology is not a separate entity but an integral part of the teaching and learning process.
I am placing this video on my home page because it is about good teaching and leaning. Technology is used as an integral part of the learning process. It is not about the technology. The technology is incidental to the learning process. This video embodies how I want my teachers to teach with technology.
